A Self-Care Summer Pass Special
Give back to your body that continues to serve you the very best that it can. Give your incredible earth suit the fuel it requires to stay healthy. Our biological and chronological ages are two very different things and there is so much we can do to support our health from the inside out. We need to listen to the messages (or sometimes warning signs) our body gives us.
I have seen first hand what can happen if I don't listen to my body and mind and if I am not giving it a balance of movement & stillness and the right nutrition. Burnout, adrenal fatigue, weight loss or gain, hair loss, weakness, heart issues and more. I have also learned that it is a lot easier to maintain the body and be preventative than it is to develop an issue and have to take even more time to come back from it.
Relax, reset and rejuvenate throughout this summer. And BREATHE in the beautiful fresh air we have during this season! Join us for as many outdoor practices as we can get in! On the bridge and on the beach!
New to yoga? No problem! There are a range of classes to choose from and we offer one on one sessions for those who would be more comfortable in a private setting.
We call a yoga session a yoga "practice" for a reason because it is always a journey for learning & self discovery. Every practice is different. Recently, I taught a lady who was almost blind. She did so well and it was such an honour to guide her and her family. When one teaches two learn and I learned so much from teaching just that one session. What strength and courage she had.
The more consistent you are with your practice, the more benefits you will experience. Increased strength, improved flexibility, balance & cardiovascular health, better bone & joint health, a relaxed nervous system and more. Yoga is such an accessible form of movement medicine. In my age group of being in my 40's, I hear all the time how achy people are. How tired. "I am getting old" is a common phrase. But it doesn't have to be that way! What we focus on expands so if I tell my body all the time that it is getting old, then it will respond. Our cells eavesdrop on our thoughts, so what are we telling them?
Our bodies are meant to live a long time. Our minds need to support our bodies and both can stay youthful by giving them the fuel they need (and are usually asking for).
Practice as much as you like throughout the summer and feel the difference it can make!

Schedule/Class Updates
We have changed some classes into outdoor classes (weather permitting)
Yin Yoga on Saturdays will be changed to a 1 hour class for the summer 10:45-11:45am
We offer private yoga sessions for individuals & groups
New Classes
Beginner Yoga & Light Weights for Bikers & Walkers: Friday @ 11am
(No class July 6 or August 24)
This class will offer "movement specific" yoga and light weights to support your joint health and build strength for biking and walking. We will offer a very specific and thorough stretching routine at the end of class that you can take home with you.
Yoga for Muscle & Joint Pain Relief: Fridays @ 515pm
(This class will be Beach Yoga on July 6 & 20)
This class will teach you how to use massage therapy balls, essential oils and deeper stretching to relieve muscle and joint pain.
Happy Hour Yin Yoga: Thursdays @ 6:15pm
(No class on July 5 & August 23)
Delve into bliss as you move into deeper muscle and connective tissue tension. Decrease stress on your nervous system as you unwind and relax. After class, enjoy a bevie of your choice!
Clear & Cleanse Aroma Yoga Class: Saturday August 4 @ 12pm
This class will involve a blend of yoga, energy exercises and essential oils to help you reset the body and mind. The oils we will be using are meant to support detoxification. Feel refreshed and rejuvenated after this transformative class!
Lots of freedom & convenience! How our passes work:
- If you decide on a session pass, it will cover you through the entire session.
- You can switch it up every week if you want to try out or need a different class.
- If you miss a class one week, you can make it up within the session.
- Session passes are cheaper than the punch passes.
- We have our punch pass or drop in options for those with unknown schedules!
- If you sign up later in the session, we can prorate a pass for you.
- Some of our classes are pre-registered/drop in so you can let us know you are coming or just drop in!
- Some of our classes are pre-registered only so we need to know ahead of time if you are coming as this helps us to determine whether a class will run or not.
